Scott Price, CPA, Owner
Scott B. Price obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He earned the honor of being a Henry Rutgers Scholar and graduated in May of 1979. He obtained his Masters in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, San Francisco, California in December of 1981. Scott has been a certified CPA since March 12, 1982 (License # 34375E). Scott B. Price and Company was founded in June of 1985.
Scott serves on the Board of Directors for several 501(c)(3) organizations. He is the treasurer for both the Rainforest Action Network, Inc and the Perinatal Medical Associates and is an active member of the Cedars of Marin Board of Directors. Scott is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Barbara Chadwick, CPA
Barbara graduated from California State University, Hayward with a degree in Accounting. Barbara is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She began her career as a real estate broker, then in 1983 Barbara joined Laventhal & Horwath as a tax accountant. In 1986 Barbara moved to Hemming Morse, CPA's until 1989 when she joined Scott B. Price & Company. Barbara works in the tax group at SBP & Company

Arlene Huber, CPA
Arlene has been working with Scott Price since 1990 and has held her CPA license since 1994. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco in 1980. Arlene is a manager in the accounting department and is responsible for quality control on all audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements. She also guides financial activities as Acting CFO & Controller for companies on an interim basis.
Arlene is a certified consultant on numerous small accounting packages including QuickBooks and aids our clients in system design, setup and training. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Arlene is an avid sailor and a volunteer in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary since 2006. She currently serves as the Finance Officer in her Flotilla.

Mark Smith, CPA
Mark earned his MBA (Taxation) at Golden Gate University. Mark joined Scott B. Price & Company in October of 1988. His prior experience includes five years as an Internal Revenue Agent. Mark's services are focused primarily on tax preparation, research, and planning, specializing in pass-through entities (Partnerships, LLC's, and S-Corporations) and is a member of California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jennifer Kuhlmann, CPA
Jen graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting. Jen worked in the Business and Advisory Services group at Arthur Andersen LLP, for two years before joining Scott B. Price & Company in July of 2002. At Andersen Jen audited a broad client base which included industries such as, manufacturing, health care, financial services, consumer products and energy. At Scott B. Price & Company Jen works on tax preparation as well as performing systems development, compilation, audit and review work for clients. She is a member of Alpha Phi Alumnae association.

Erin Hastings, CPA
Erin graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting as well as a minor in Spanish. Erin was an auditor with the Business and Advisory Services group at both Arthur Andersen LLP, and KPMG LLP prior to joining Scott B. Price & Company in October of 2003. Erin is a manager in the Accounting department, focusing mainly on audit, review, and compilation engagements as well as performing systems development and consultations. Erin serves on the Finance Advisory Committee for the Headlands Center for the Arts. She is a member of California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Patty Jang, CPA
Patty joined Scott B. Price and Co. in July 2006 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she spent five years specializing in individual and fiduciary income tax accounting and planning. Her prior experience includes eight years in auditing, financial analysis, revenue accounting and systems integrations for large and small publicly traded companies. She is a member of California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Tim Lafranchi, CPA
Tim Lafranchi joined Scott B. Price and Company in August of 2007. Tim graduated from Golden Gate University in 1972 with a degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Tim began his career in San Francisco with the firm Harris, Kerr Forster and later operated his own practice in San Jose for twelve years. After working with a Litigation Support practice in San Mateo for eight years, Tim spent the most recent eight years with Seiler & Company in Redwood City before joining Scott B. Price and company. Tim has a broad background with specific experience with high net worth individuals, real estate, and small business entrepreneurs.

Kathleen Chon, CPA
Kathleen graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She obtained her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Prior to joining Scott B. Price and Company in February 2010, Kathleen worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for 15 years where she specialized in individual and fiduciary income tax accounting and planning. Kathleen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Eva Senjaya, CPA
Eva Senjaya earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of Oregon. She holds a Masters degree in taxation from Golden Gate University and and MBA from San Francisco State University. She graduated with honors from both institutions. Eva is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She joined Scott B. Price & Company in January 2009. Prior to joining our firm, Eva worked at Ernst & Young’s Diversified Tax Group for 18 months. Her prior experience includes 2.5 years working as an assistant controller in restaurant and hospitality industry. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

Yvan Pierre Louis, Tax Associate
Yvan graduated from Dominican University at San Rafael, CA with a Bachelor in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Finance and Accounting. He earned an M.S. Tonya is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with an emphasis in Accounting Information Systems. Janice Mortenson, Administrative Assistant
Prior to starting her career with Scott B Price and Company in 1990, Janice obtained experience in banking, bookkeeping, office management, university administration, and retail. Since moving to San Francisco from Minnesota in 1983, Janice has been an active member of her church, participating in their food and toy drives, and she also regularly volunteers with the Food Bank of San Francisco.
